Robyn B. Lindsay is Counsel with Harwood Lloyd’s Wills, Trusts and Estates Department and its Commercial Department. She concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, estate administration and residential real estate. Ms. Lindsay has extensive experience in drafting estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney and health care proxies. Ms. Lindsay is experienced in all phases of the probate process, including probating of wills, preparing and filing of death and inheritance tax returns, drafting and filing of disclaimers and implementing other post-mortem planning techniques. Ms. Lindsay also has considerable experience in the area of real estate purchases, sales and refinances including residential homes, condominiums and cooperatives. Ms. Lindsay has experience assisting charitable groups seeking recognition as tax-exempt by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) organization.
Ms. Lindsay received her B.A. in Economics and Music from Colgate University in 1984. She received her J.D. from New York Law School in 1991.
Ms. Lindsay is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of New Jersey (1992), the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey (1992), and the courts of the State of New York (1992).
Ms. Lindsay’s pro bono work includes participation in “Wills for Heroes Foundation” administered through the New Jersey State Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division, which provides estate planning assistance for 9/11 first responders.
Ms. Lindsay is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Bergen County Bar Association, the Greater New Jersey Estate Planning Council and the Elder and Disability Law Section of the New Jersey Bar Association.
