Rebecca K. Chan, Esq. is an Associate Attorney at Harwood Lloyd, LLC, with a concentration in insurance defense litigation. She is experienced in all phases of litigation and regularly appears in court for conferences and oral argument.
Rebecca represents clients in a broad range of matters, including trip-and-fall accidents, construction-related claims, and motor vehicle liability cases. She has significant experience in motion practice, including motions to dismiss and for summary judgment, and is skilled in advocating complex liability and damages issues before the court. She brings a well-rounded perspective to her practice, drawing on both private practice and in-house legal experience. Rebecca works closely with clients to develop strategic approaches aimed at achieving efficient and favorable outcomes.
Rebecca earned her Juris Doctor from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and her Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from St. John’s University. She is admitted to practice in New York and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Outside of her practice, Rebecca enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her family.
