Brandy A. Smith is a seasoned trial attorney with over 23 years of experience in complex New York civil litigation, insurance defense, and personal injury law. She joined Harwood Lloyd as Counsel, Insurance Defense, following more than a decade of in-house experience with major insurance carriers. Her practice has served clients in NYC, its boroughs, and Long Island.
Brandy earned her B.A. in Political Science from SUNY Geneseo (1999) and her J.D. from the Hofstra University School of Law (2002), which she attended on an Academic Merit Scholarship. She is admitted to practice in the New York State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Her postgraduate studies include master’s-level coursework in Economics.
