Christopher M. Nahas is a civil litigation attorney with more than twenty years of experience representing insurance carriers and their insureds in New York. His practice focuses on insurance defense litigation involving bodily injury, property damage, and commercial liability claims. Mr. Nahas manages all phases of litigation, including motion practice, depositions, court appearances, legal research and writing, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.

Prior to joining Harwood Lloyd, LLC, Mr. Nahas practiced at Morris Duffy Alonso Falley & Pitcoff and other New York litigation firms, where he represented insurers and their policyholders in a wide range of liability matters. Earlier in his career, he served as an Associate Trial Attorney with American International Group and also handled insurance coverage matters and commercial litigation. Mr. Nahas also served as an Agency Attorney with the New York City Department of Education, representing the nation’s largest public school system in administrative proceedings. Mr. Nahas enjoys skiing and travel in his personal time.
