Stacey is Counsel at Harwood Lloyd concentrating in civil insurance defense litigation with experience in general negligence, automobile negligence, products liability, general liability, construction defect, insurance coverage, social host liability, Dram Shop/liquor liability, claims against municipalities and Federal practice.
Stacey began her career at Breslin, Higgins & Zimmerer in 1990 as an Associate Attorney in insurance defense. She left the firm to work at Stevens & Minter as In-House Counsel for AIG Insurance concentrating in insurance defense litigation and responsible for semi-annual continuing education presentations to local claims departments concentrating on updates law effecting issues related to PIP and verbal threshold. After leaving Stevens & Miner, Stacey joined Zimmerer, Murray, Conyngham & Kunzier as an Attorney to continue her practice in insurance defense litigation for the next twenty-seven (27) years before coming to Harwood Lloyd.
From 2000 through 2011, Stacey served in various positions on the Executive Board of the Haworth Home & School Association. During her tenure, Stacey expanded the lunch program, co-chaired fundraising efforts to raise more than $400,000.00 for the expansion of Haworth Public School and served as its President for four (4) years introducing new programs and fundraising endeavors to enhance the School’s budget and provide much needed equipment and supplies to its educators. Stacey continues to concentrate her efforts outside of work to promote and protect the rights of girls and women, keep guns off college campuses and address food insecurity in the tri-State area.
