Jesse Lubin is an associate in Harwood Lloyd’s Insurance Litigation Department. He focuses his practice primarily on insurance defense litigation in the areas of general liability, premises liability, dram shop, construction defects, products liability, labor law, automobile liability, subrogation and insurance coverage matters.
Mr. Lubin received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2003. He received his J.D. from Albany Law School in 2010.
While in law school, Mr. Lubin interned for the New York State Department of Financial Service (DFS), Insurance Division and gained valuable experience working for the Deputy Director of Health. Following law school, Mr. Lubin began his career representing insurers in the defense of complex first party property coverage matters and subrogation actions.
Prior to attending law school Mr. Lubin represented one of the nation’s largest property casualty insurance carriers as a commercial property claims adjuster handling all aspects of first-party commercial property claims. While working as a claims adjuster, he traveled for catastrophe (“CAT”) duty to assist with the prompt investigation and settlement of property damage claims during several of the nation’s most devastating hurricanes.
Mr. Lubin is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of New Jersey (2012), The United States District Court for the District of New Jersey (2012), and the courts of the State of New York (2012).
