Eileen Kuzma is Counsel in Harwood Lloyd’s General Litigation and Wills, Trusts and Estates Departments, with a concentration in appellate matters, legal research and brief writing, encompassing a wide array of practice areas. Ms. Kuzma has extensive experience in the defense of claims against public entities, including civil rights claims, police liability and negligence actions against governing bodies and school boards. Ms. Kuzma’s practice also involves defense of insurance matters, premises liability and general negligence claims in state and federal Courts. Ms. Kuzma also practices in the area of contested wills and probate litigation.

Ms. Kuzma received her B.S. in Biology, from Manhattan College, graduating with Honors, including cum laude distinction, in 1994. She received her J.D. from Pace Law School in 1997, where she also attained a Certificate in Health Care Law.

Ms. Kuzma’s notable reported decisions include Agha v. Feiner, 198 N.J. 50 (2009) and Wildoner v. Borough of Ramsey, 162 N.J. 375 (2000).

Ms. Kuzma is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of New Jersey (1997), the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey (1997), and the courts of the State of New York (1998).

Ms. Kuzma is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
