Amanda Rasheed is an associate in Harwood Lloyd’s Family Law Department. Ms. Rasheed has handled matters in most areas of family law, including, but not limited to, domestic violence, divorce, alimony, equitable distribution, custody, parenting time, and child support.
Ms. Rasheed graduated Cum Laude in History and received her B.A. from Seton Hall University in 2008. She received her J.D. and a Certificate in Comparative and International Law Institute from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in 2013.
During law school, Ms. Rasheed was a member of the CommLaw Conspectus: Journal of Communications, Law, and Policy, participated in a Prosecutor’s Clinic, and interned at the Law Office of Shah & Shah. She also participated in pro bono work by volunteering at the Public Defender’s Office in New Orleans and assisted at multiple Naturalization clinics.
Prior to joining Harwood Lloyd, Ms. Rasheed served as a Judicial Intern for the Hon. Peter J. Melchionne, P.J.F.P. at the Bergen County Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part. She then served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Hon. Mark T. Janeczko, J.S.C. in Bergen County Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part. After her clerkship, she was an associate at The Law Office of Rajeh A. Saadeh, LLC.
Ms. Rasheed is admitted to practice before the courts in the State of New Jersey and the State of New York. She is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association.
