Leidy J. Gutierrez is an associate in Harwood Lloyd’s General Litigation Department.
Ms. Gutierrez received her B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University, magna cum laude, in 2011. She received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2016.
While in law school, Ms. Gutierrez interned for the Hon. James B. Clark, III., United District Court, District of New Jersey and for the Hon. Estela De La Cruz, Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Bergen County. She served as president of the Latin American Law Students Association and was a member of the law school’s Diversity Council. She also served as student clinical associate in the Immigrant’s Rights/International Human Rights Clinic at Seton Hall Law’s Center for Social Justice. Ms. Gutierrez also studied international human rights and international criminal law in Chamonix, France.
Ms. Gutierrez served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Bonnie J. Mizdol, Assignment Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, for the 2016-2017 term.
Ms. Gutierrez is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of New Jersey (2016) and New York (2018).
Ms. Gutierrez is Chairperson of the Young Lawyers Division of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, member of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey (Young Lawyers Committee member), Hispanic National Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, Bergen County Bar Association and Women Lawyers in Bergen (Board member).
