Kathleen K. Lang is an associate in Harwood Lloyd’s Insurance Litigation Department specializing in the field of no fault personal injury protection. Kathleen began working as a law clerk at Harwood Lloyd while still at Seton Hall Law School. After graduating in 1988, she clerked for the Honorable Peter F. Boggia, Judge, Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Bergen County, for the 1988-1989 term. After her judicial clerkship, she returned to Harwood Lloyd as an associate specializing in insurance defense litigation until 1996 when her first daughter was born. After taking some time to raise her family, Kathleen joined the Law Office of Walter F. Skrod, Esq., House Counsel to Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, in 1997. While there, she began her specialization in no-fault litigation and worked closely with Liberty Mutual’s No-Fault Claims Management in Marlton, New Jersey to ensure the most cost effective management of no-fault claims statewide. She went on to manage Liberty Mutual’s House Counsel’s No Fault Department for all Northern New Jersey Arbitrations . After Liberty Mutual relocated its no fault operations to southern New Jersey, Kathleen joined the firm of Chasan Leyner and Lamparello, PC where she continued to specialize in no fault personal injury protection matters. Kathleen returned to Harwood Lloyd in 2016 and joined the firm’s PIP department where she exclusively handles no fault claims and insurance coverage issues for the firm’s major insurance carrier clients which include Allstate, New Jersey Manufactures, GEICO, Amica and American Commerce Insurance. Ms. Lang is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of New Jersey (1989) and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey (1989).
